Willie is as big (both in size and personality) as the country legend he is named after! This boy is gorgeous, affectionate, and ready for a second chance at a great life. He has lived with other cats so seems kind and respectful of others. Willie loves attention from our volunteers. He will greet us at the door and throw himself on the floor so he can roll around as we pet him or pet the other cats in his room. Again, he is respectful and not demanding, but sure does love to be loved. If you are a fan of large boy cats, you will want to meet Willie as he is sure to win your heart.

Willie came to our rescue with 2 adult cats and a litter of five kittens. The family that was renting the property was leaving and didn't know what would happen to them once they left. They were all outside cats (apparently were allowed inside or in some sort of porch/patio) during the VERY cold weather as some of the kittens had a little frost bite so it was essential to make room for the entire group in our shelter before the family left the property. We are happy we did, as both the kittens and the adult cats are amazing. All loving, very social (including with kids), and appreciative to have a warm and cozy place to be. **These cats are a good reminder the importance of spay/neuter programs**
