Domestic Shorthair, 2 years, Male Neutered

Look at Waylon's sweet face! He is so adorable. This boy is very loving and affectionate. He will lean into your hand as you pet him and reach out for you when you walk away. Waylon (like the other cats he came in with) is respectful and kind to other cats. He will wait his turn for attention and/or food or is perfectly happy to move over a bit and share. Waylon is a great family cat just waiting for his chance to show you how special he is.

Waylon came in with two other adult cats and five kittens. The family that was renting the property was leaving and didn't know what would happen to them once they left. They were all outside cats (apparently were allowed inside or in some sort of porch/patio) during the VERY cold weather as some of the kittens had a little frost bite so it was essential to make room for the entire group in our shelter before the family left the property. We are happy we did, as both the kittens and the adult cats are amazing. All loving, very social (including with kids), and appreciative to have a warm and cozy place to be. **These cats are a good reminder the importance of spay/neuter programs**
